Angelo Serra, Sports Therapist - BSc (Hons)
Angelo graduated from the University of Chichester with a first class honours degree in Sports Therapy (BSc Hons). As well as treating at Sussex Injury Clinic Angelo also works for the NHS in the falls and fracture department.
He enjoys attending international conferences and CPD courses to further broaden his medical skills and knowledge.
Angelo`s treatment techniques include Maitland and Mulligan joint mobilisations, advanced soft tissue manipulation and myofascial release, the Graston technique (to reduce adhesions and increase flexibility of stiff joints), M.E.T. (Muscle Energy Technique), Sports Taping, electrotherapy modalities including Shock Wave, Ultrasound, Tens and Interferential and individualised rehabilitation programmes including pre and post surgery.
He was head therapist for Portsmouth Football Ladies team and has provided pitch side first-aid for Hove Rugby Team during training and match days.
Angelo loves to be active by training at the gym and playing weekly sport including Football and Tennis.

Meg Denman, Sports Therapist - BSc (Hons)
Meg has returned to Sussex Injury Clinics after a 2 year trip to Canada and surrounding regions.
She graduated from the University of Chichester in 2014 after studying and gaining a degree in Sports Therapy (BSc Hons). Whilst at university Meg enjoyed competing in Netball for the University as well as Ultimate Frisbee. She also worked alongside the University Men's 1st team as their sports therapist supporting them in the BUCS premier south league.
Since leaving University Meg moved to work with East Grinstead Hockey club as the Mens 1st team Sports Therapist. This has come with the highlights of working with a very elite team and set of athletes. Other perks have included being able to travel with the team to the likes of Barcalona and Mulheim in Germany and supporting the team in winning their 7th consecutive national hockey 5s championship.
Amongst all the sports therapy Meg loves hitting the gym to keep fit or running on the Ashdown forest with her two dogs.
